CAPONEU Conference on “The Political Novel in Europe Between Democracy and Authoritarianism”

📢 From 22 to 24 April 2026, we successfully held the fourth annual CAPONEU Conference in Poznań! 📚✨

The conference, “The Political Novel in Europe Between Democracy and Authoritarianism,” brought together scholars, writers, and policymakers to reflect on how literature engages with the complex relationship between democracy and authoritarianism.

Through a dynamic programme of academic panels and public conversations with writers, theoretical perspectives and practical insights were placed in a productive and ongoing dialogue. 💬
